The operating system and all operation-relevant data are stored on particularly durable data memories and are therefore particularly insensitive to adverse environmental conditions. Areas of application: Remote control stations for police, fire brigade and disaster control, construction sites, environmental facilities.

The CAR-A-WAN.112 is equipped with two WLAN cards: one provides the access point, the other connects the router to the WLAN of the police station, so that e.g. PCs in the vehicle do not cause mobile phone costs outside of the operating hours and updates etc. do not overly strain the inclusive volume. In addition, the CAR-A-WAN.112 can also be connected directly via LAN cable to a domestic xDSL router in the event of a longer outdoor deployment near residential buildings, without having to change the settings in the vehicle or disturbing the operation.
